So I don't get BBC (shitty basic cable) and have never been able to watch the BBC Top Gear. Now, I have Netflix and there's a ton of Top Gear on there. I've seen a few episodes before and really enjoyed it. So until I have a chance to binge-watch and see every episode, give me some suggestions of episodes that were particularly awesome so I can watch them first whenever I finally get some free time (hopefully tonight). If you know what season and episode # it is that would be a big help too so I can find it quicker.
Thanks! Have an Ariel Atom for your time.

Very first cheap car challenge (Season 4, I think it's episode 3, but I'm not sure).

Teenage Car Challenge and "some other" brilliant bits.

Without a doubt the first US trip episode should be one of your first. It's in Season 9, Episode 3.

you can almost basically skip season 1, since james may wasnt there yet, and the format was slightly different. but other than that, seriously just watch them in order. there are so many running gags, (especially during the news segment) that make a lot more sense when watched in order.
oh and by the way, the episodes on netflix have altered music background. (which i dont appreciate)

Don't watch them on Netflix — I think it's the reduced content 44 minute ones, correct?

Use that, close any popups, ignore mostly anything telling you to DL something unless it's DIVX web player — If you have a problem with ads on the page, just grab an embed link and embed it on your own personal blog.

Netflix has the full length episodes, but according to someone else in this thread (can't check who because mobile) says they do have different music than the originals.

The episode they all had to be lorrie drivers.

I always thought that episode was unfair and mean spirited. I mean, I get their point that they were trying to show that southern americans are redneck and closed minded, but it's not as if that's uncommon knowledge. So why kick the bear? What would happen if Top Gear US went to England and drove around in shitty British cars with intentionally provocative slogans like "Americans: 1, Redcoats: 0" or "English Football blows" or "Down with the Queen" ?

Some of the best (in my opinion) are the Vietnam Special (driving motorcyles across Vietnam), the lorrie (or big rig) challenge, the first US special (in cheap used cars), and the most recent Africa Special (when they buy wagons, not sure if it is on Netflix yet). I will comment if I think of any more.

This is a list (with descriptions, list of cars and guests of each episode): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_T…
Some of my favorites are when they are challenged to build amphibious cars, stretch limos, and camper vehicles... Their adventures in Botswana, Belize, and the US are also great! Happy watching!
